POLICE FORCE MEETING

Summary: The long-awaited police force open forum! This log is open and will remain so for a week, real time; it is for the IC discussion and establishment of laws and police force. Topics will be placed under their own threads; everyone is welcome and encouraged to comment and give in character input. As well, Jackie is broadcasting this meeting through the network, so feel free to comment even if they are not there.

Naoto had had a long week. Public speaking did not interest her much, although she had no problem with it. ...But now was hardly the time for reflection. When it seemed as though everyone who was going to assemble, had, she stood and mounted the stairs to the stage, wishing she was taller. In all appearances, Naoto was a young man; she made her opening remarks in Japanese, before repeating them in English.
"Good afternoon, and welcome. It is good that so many of you have come." The pleasantries felt awkward. "As you are all aware, this is a discussion to establish the new structure of laws here in Discedo, as well as the structure of the police force shall follow. We shall approach this topically, and all may feel free to voice their opinion. At some point after the meeting, someone will post a written version of the discussions and agreements for the network at large.
"In addition, Mr. ...Jackie has offered to broadcast this meeting through the network, and will speak on behalf of any using that method to join us.
"... Well, then, shall we begin?"
