Souji was hanging out with Yosuke in the lobby of Latimir. Conveniently in time to catch Naoto returning from her patrol.

He was a polite enough boy to not let his jaw drop in surprise. However, he could not stop himself from staring.

"Naoto-kun?"

Yousuke, sprawled out on a couch in from of the heater, lifted his head up to look where Souji was.

And it was glorious.

Finally, she was thinking, stressed and anxious and cold, really, tense and oddly exhausted. Finally. Four flights of stairs and then I can burn this dress and never speak of it again-someone said her name, and she looked up.

...Damn it.

Souji was bad enough, but Hanamura-senpai, too? She stopped short at the sight of them both and seriously considered turning and fleeing back outside, face frozen and pinker than her damn dress.

Souji smiled in greeting, a little smile that was a little restrained so she didn't think he was making fun of her. Because really, this was a pleasant and eye-pleasing surprise that almost didn't seem real, were it not in front of him.

"Hey. What's the occasion, Naoto-kun?"

Meanwhile, Yousuke's look of shocked surprise was soon replaced with a sly smile. Oh, there was no limit to the potential for blackmail here. He wished he had a camera on him...

Wait.

As subtly as he possibly could, he started to fish in his back pocket for his communicator. Just a second of footage! Please God, it was all he needed!

Luckily for him, Naoto is too busy staring at the floor to, for example, summon her Persona to hama his ass. She crosses her arms tight over herself and tries to muster up-well, anything, really. Anger would be fine. Anything but this embarrassment, this feeling of vulnerability. "I made a foolish bet," she managed stiffly, hands clenching at her shoulders.

"I'm guessing you lost?" Judging from the embarrassment and all. Souji chuckled.

"You look really nice though. You should dress up more often."

Yes! Thank you, Souji! Ham it up all the way and distract her!

Yousuke very carefully began to fumble with the device behind his back, trying to get the video to function without looking... It was hard to do with one hand, and keep a careful eye on Naoto at the same time.

She nodded stiffly at Souji's guess, and was unable to reply to the second part on account of her blush intensifying. Naturally enough-well, in her mind, anyway-Naoto hadn't even put in consideration into whether or not she looked 'good' or 'bad;' she'd simply assumed she looked as awful and unnatural as she felt.

She wasn't sure what exactly she thought about the compliment, and didn't agree with it, but it was better than laughter. And speaking of that-Naoto glanced suspiciously over at Hanamura-senpai, only to see him doing... something incredibly suspicious. Her posture stiffened. "What are you doing?"

Crap! Yousuke slipped his communicator into his pocket before Naoto would be able to see it. He waved this now-free hand at her dismissively. "What? I was scratching my back!"

"Heh, you do clean up pretty well, Naoto-kun!" He added with a wink, hopefully to distract her... And for his own benefit. That blush was priceless!

Souji looked at Yosuke too. He seemed unaware of his partner's sneakiness, or his attempt to be anyway.

Naoto blushing was pretty priceless though.

"Wanna sit with us?" And stay in the dress longer.

Naoto fixed Yousuke with a very suspicious look, but her detective skills were somewhat trumped by sheer embarrassment. "Not particularly." To her credit, she doesn't mean it rudely, as much as she could. She just wants out of this damn outfit.

Kanji noticed Souji and Yousuke and came jogging up to them. "Hey guys, whatcha....do.............in...." His eyes settled on Naoto; it wasn't hard to tell it was her, at least, not for him, or, maybe it was because of how comfortable this person looked in said outfit of awesome

Uh oh, his face was red. It was red, turning it right now. Also, to add to this, a slight trickle of blood. Of course he wasn't aware of this happening.
