Summary: What's the best way to celebrate the return of a formerly dead crewmate and friend? Throw them a freakin' awesome party of course

Luffy was having a blast. His nakama were okay and together, and even though they were still missing a few members from home, they were having fun and they had some special guests along for today too. There was food, there was booze (not that he really drank much anyway, but he made up for it by eating more)... Everything was almost perfect.

So it seemed only natural to put a couple of sticks that looked kinda like chopsticks up his nose and do the basket dance with Chopper.

"It's too bad Brook's not here to play us some music!"

Now this was something he had definitely missed, as silly as it sounded. Oh chopsticks, what would we ever do without you? Chopper had joined in on the dancing, of course with chopsticks up his nose, because there was really no other way for him to do it.

He had tried to respond somehow but he had forgotten that chopsticks up nose = how do I spoke coherent words? So he takes them out for a moment.

"Aah, that would be great! Or maybe we could just... make our own music! We can always sing!"

Luffy took his own chopsticks out and nodded.

"Yeah, we should sing!"

Unfortunately, Luffy's three-second attention span kicked in and he spotted Kureha on a stretcher.

"OR WE SHOULD RACE STRETCHERS!"

Stretchers? Kureha's head lifts up hearing Luffy's cheer. Quickly, the witch jumps up pointing her finger at him.

"Oi! These isn't for racing!"

"But it's fun!" Luffy protested. "And we did it before! It works real well!"

DERP JUMPING IN BECAUSE FUCK YEAH STRETCHER RACES

"YES! WE SHOULD RACE STRETCHERS AGAIN!"

Yeah sorry mom but HE REALLY WANTS TO DO IT. He doesn't even think about how ridiculous the request is.

"Doctorine, can we? Can we race the stretchers?! We did do it before and nothing bad happened. Nothing really bad PLEEEASE?"

EIRIN IS GOING TO---IDK WTH!

Kureha would be a hypocrite if denied it. She even rode on them herself but that was for transporting patients. Kureha hops down from hers resting one hand on her hip.

"Fine fine, let's get them set up. Under one condition, I'm joining in, and I don't go down easily."

"I set up mattresses so we don't get hurt!" Luffy added helpfully.

Chopper is just nodding enthusiastically. He barely has the ability to speak at the moment because the excitement is building up inside of him and has reached his throat, keeping the words backed-up underneath.

"Chopper, get two more stretches," Kureha muses at the reindeer. She was more worried about them running over someone.

"YEAH!" Luffy cheered, racing to help Chopper find another stretcher. This would be epic, he just knew it.

"Looking~!" Chopper said happily, running off to find a stretcher as quickly a he could so they could get their race going. Eventually he stumbled upon one. "Luffy, we'll use this one. Help me bring it back!"
