Summary: Souji and Hijikata angst, proving they're worth of their canon.

It's logical that Hijikata is acting like this. He would have done it himself, had he trusted any one enough upon his arrival. All the same, Souji hates the stifled feeling he gets around his friend sometimes.
It's not his fault they're stuck here, but he feels like he should be able to get them out, at least. Hijikata has even more duties than him, how could he have forgotten that, it's all Souji lives for at times-- and still, he wishes Hijikata would just accept the situation. With the things he's seen, Souji doubts anyone will be able to get out.
Though, of course, torture is still an option.
Of course it's amazing to have Hijikata there. He doesn't feel alone anymore, he has guidance, someone to tell him what to do-- not to mention just having Hijikata there. He can't help but smile every time he sees the man, frowning though he may be.
Still, he's a little more tense than usual as he makes their tea.
