Summary: After experiencing their own ghosts of the past on New Year's Day, Haruka and Testament try to find comfort in each other's company.

With that message, Haruka placed the communicator down by the side of his "bed," next to his chawan, which was still half-full of the water Kantarou brought for him before. His mattress was a large gym mat laid down on the floor, while his body was covered with an old blanket. The outer layer of his kimono had been removed, after getting dirtied up by his many falls on New Year's Day, leaving him with the lighter, patternless one underneath. Only so much of it could be seen near the area of his shoulders and neck, where the blanket couldn't reach.
His head rested on a pillow, and he contemplated closing his eyes for awhile as he waited for Testament to come. But he felt too restless, and even partly ashamed. He wondered why he bothered making such a desperate request in the first place, regretting it deep down in the pit of his stomach. There was... still a part of him that was relieved though.
The tengu pulled a hand up to his face, letting out a sigh. Which was it?
