Who: Death the Kid, open
Where: Lander blvd. x Inples Trail.
When: Today, evening
Rating: PG-13
Summary: Kid is trying to find people, and maybe food, but really something that's not disgustingly asymmetrical.
the log:
He was trying his hardest not to panic. Already, he had walked ten minutes before pausing to become repulsed with his surroundings. This was too much. They had just been in tower 8, tower eight, the most symmetrical number in all the land, and Kid was so overjoyed. Then those two dreaded lefts, or something--he couldn't remember what they were doing, Liz had to cover his eyes--but he was more than certain it was two lefts...
But this... this was horrible.
No guns at his side. Patty was somewhere, Liz... he didn't know. He could only hope to run into someone else he knew, but the chances seemed somewhat slim. Well, at least he had a map.
He stared at it again once he stopped fretting over his location, and looked at the device and the drawn locations. Well, he would need his location to find where he was on the map...
And right now, he was in the middle of two large stretches of buildings. It would be a few more minutes of walking to reach an intersection, and he would be able to read signs--if there were signs, but from this place, he couldn't be sure. He stared at the two buildings, taking a breath to calm himself before he started walking in one direction.
So far, so... tolerable. Though after a few minutes of walking straight, right as he finally reached an intersection, his knees hit the ground and his hands grabbed hold of his head.
"I forgot to fold my toilet paper!" he cried to himself, body trembling. "It wasn't symmetrical, I didn't fold it. The picture frame was off by two millimeters and I didn't correct it, the chair wasn't tucked in evenly! I am so awful! A filthy swine!" He felt sick with himself. This was the worst thing he could ever do, leaving such imperfections in his absence. And to be thrown into such an asymmetrical world with no chance of returning to correct it...
This had to be hell.
