Ryoji had punched himself for telling Moa. Literally, he punched himself. She was upset and while there were many things leading to the breakdown Moa seemed to be having. Of course, he was beating himself up because he thought it was all his fault. So when she let him come over, he dropped all other obligations and headed out to Latimir. He hoped that Moa wouldn't hate him for what he did.
