Waiting in his room after the rain had died down, Zack was tired. He had gotten pretty beat up over the few days, but still he pressed on. Now was time for a few moments of precious rest and relaxation. At least until he heard knocking on the door. Was it Cloud? Harry? Marlene? Probably Aeris coming up to yell at him about how she was a big girl and could fight by herself.
When he opened the door, it wasn't either of them. It was someone he didn't even recognize. A small, funny looking...kid. He cocked an eyebrow, a hand on his hip.
Zack was a bit older (and taller!) than Raz expected, and his reaction made the psicadet feel a little awkward, but there was no way he was going to back down! He had a pretty good track record of convincing people to teach him things. And he said he'd never give up! Plus, Zack already promised him he'd train him no matter what, so Raz had that on his side, too. It was foolproof! Well, close enough to foolproof.
"Zack, sir," he said, standing up straight, his hands curled into determined fists, "I'm Razputin."
(OOC: For the lulz, change 'Razputin' with 'your son', 'your father', 'your internet girlfriend', or 'Cloud'.)
Zack was a bit...surprised. The kid was tiny, and looked as if he had no muscle on him what-so-ever. He couldn't help it, he burst out laughing. It was so bad he ended up leaning against the doorframe, clutching onto his stomach, his face redder than a cherry no doubt. Finally he regained control of himself and puffed out his chest, saluting the boy in front of him. When he spoke, it was with lips pouted and in a much deeper, manlier voice than his usual boyish one.
Razputin hadn't really been expecting Zack to burst into uncontrollable laughter. He was thinking more along the lines of disbelief or anger or... well, something other than laughter, but that worked, too. In fact, it worked out better than he expected. Raz didn't even have to recite the Whispering Rock pamphlet this time. Success!
He grinned broadly, then quickly saluted back. "Yes, sir!" he answered.
Zack backed up, ushering the boy into his "cozy" room (that Aeris had actually managed to make livable). He walked around Raz, sizing the boy up, taking measurments with his eyes. No muscle, no apparent physical strength, small, possibly could be snapped in half like a stick...this was going to be harder than Zack thought.
He hit a hard hand on Raz's lower back, forcing him to stand up as straight as possible. Coming back around to face the strange child, he poked him twice in the ribs with great concentration. This could be fun--Zack always liked projects.

"Razputin! Are you ready to become a man?!"
