Hello Livejournal, it's been a while.
I don't see you anymore because I'm too busy for you. I'm sorry, I'm a bad friend. You were great when I needed someone to vent to in the moody and gloomy years of 2004 and 2005 but since then I've barely needed you.
Since I last posted a real D&M-type entry, things have improved so much. Life is good! I'm happy to be in full-time work with decent people, even though some days get pretty tedious. I'm in love with my part-time job, which works out to three or four dollars an hour but gets me all kinds of amazing opportunities and a sense of fulfillment that's second to none.
I still suck at girls. Maybe because I try too hard, who knows. I met a girl recently who has that annoying ability to linger in all those sparse areas in your mind, chewing up just about every one of those moments in between the thoughts relating to the important and routine aspects of life. I might actually consider pursuing this one at some stage.
The band broke up and reformed minus the two original members but I'm won't be too worried about that as long as I have enough other things to keep me busy and take pleasure in.
So I guess we'll meet again next time I feel the need to gush. Or maybe things will turn to shit and I'll be back here, the prodigal son, as it were.
