Yes, I am aware that the timing of my entries is becoming increasingly sporadic. There isn't really that much to tell.
I've impressed at every level so far for the airport job and if I impress the general manager next Thursday the job is mine. I spent most of Thursday afternoon at iiNet taking part in a range of activities that will somehow help them figure out whether I should work there or not. I don't think I fared too badly but my nerves may have hit my chances.
The Kate thing is in the process of blowing over. Thanks again to all of you for your support. I've kept a pretty brave face throughout... but without you kids I would probably have spent a lot more time drinking on my own while listening to Disintegration.
The Thunderbird is going magnificently, although I'm still trying to work out how to get a good sound when running it through my overdrive pedal. The bass gives such a crunching rock sound that a lot of songs no longer need overdrive. You'll get your first chance to see her in action tomorrow evening when we play a free gig at the Newport. We're also playing with The Colors, Love You Not and The Bullet Holes. Please come.
