Title: Alice, Her Name Is
Genre: Drama, Fantasy
Rating: PG
Word Count: 150+
Summary: This is a dialogue between The Mad Hatter and Alice. I was inspired by the song by Shinedown "Her Name Is Alice" and by the movie as well.
“And you say my dear that you fell through a mirror?”
“Yes, I did”
“Now that’s just absurd, no one could possibly fall through a mirror”
“Well the most absurd thing must be possible, because I fell through that stupid gold mirror”
“Really…a mirror, you say, made of gold you say”
“Yes I say”
“Interesting…very interesting indeed”
“What, what’s interesting?”
“Well my dear you didn’t fall through a mirror”
“Then what did I fall through?”
“The looking glass”
“Looking Glass?”
“Yes, the looking glass”
“What does that even mean?”
“The glass that lets you go from place to place”
“How did I get to this place?”
“You were needed here”
“Needed for what?”
“You ask a lot of questions you know”
“Needed for what I said?”
“To destroy the beast, and get the crown back to the White Queen”
“Beast, queen, I’m sorry I’m a little muddled by all this”
“It’s so simple, nothing to be muddled by”
“What beast are you talking about, and who’s the White Queen?”
“The Jabberwocky of course, and the White Queen, she’s the real queen of underland”
“Jabberwocky…how am I even supposed to destroy that?”
“Oh, you’ll see in time dear Alice, now come along, we don’t have much time to waste”
“I still don’t know how the White Queen is, or that Red Queen I’ve been hearing about”
“Trust, me Alice, you’ll know, you’ll know”
“I’ll know what”
“Things”
“Things?”
“Things”
“Repeating the word doesn’t answer the question”
“You know, you used to be so much…”
“Much what?”
“Muchier, you’ve lost your muchness”
“My muchness?”
“Your muchness”
“That hardly makes any sense”
“What ever makes sense doesn’t, and what doesn’t; does”
“I see”
