Title: Aquaphobia
Hyunsik-centric
Rated: pg-13
Summary: The cold, the dark, and the silence.
Warning: drowning.
a/n: idk i just wanted to write about my phobias. more to come after i'm done watching horror movies yafeel.

The sky is blurry, Hyunsik thinks slowly. His eyes ache. He doesn't know why.

The thought processes noisily and grates on his ears. There's a headache coming on-- one you get when you're upside down too long and all the blood in your body tries to circulate to your head. He feels splashing. Hears it, too, but it's muffled, like he has ear muffs on.

His lungs burn, like they're begging for air to be given to them. They claw at his chest, burning and throbbing in time with the thrumming beat of his heart. Hyunsik parts his lips and sucks in a breath, expecting oxygen to fill his lungs but instead he gets a rush of cold water down his throat. Eyes widening painfully, he grips at his own chest as if it will remove the water slowing pouring into his lungs, and to no avail.

It feels like he's suffocating-- like someone has grabbed a rope and tied a noose around his throat and began to pull. His limbs twitch and flail uncontrollably, but his movements are slowed considerably and it's only then that he realizes he's underwater. For some reason, the thought doesn't bother him as much as it should, and he lets go of his chest rather calmly. Attempts to breathe in again. Another lungful of water.

Black starts to ebb in on the corners of his vision. His eyes close and he lets go of his consciousness, allowing the cold and dark to consume him.

Silence.

Title: FOF
Kyung-centric
Rating: pg-13
Summary: Weightless and afraid.
Warning: falling.

Kyung is terrified. His fingers are curled around the hard armrests of his plane seat, and he's shaking a bit. Thoughts of the plane dropping from the sky flash through his mind causing him to cringe and jump up. Jiho looks at him oddly, probably wondering what the fuck was wrong with him. Smiling nervously, he rushes himself into the bathroom of the airplane and stares into the small, shitty mirror supplied for passengers. He's pale, extremely so. His jaw is clenched-- teeth grinding together so hard the noise rings in his ears.

Though the probability of the plane suddenly falling from the sky is low, there is still a small, miniscule chance that it would. That horrifies him. Kyung squints to lose the thought, but it's there, eating away at the back of his mind.

Deep breaths, Kyung, he thinks to himself as he leaves the bathroom, hands rubbing together nervously.

Jiho is staring at him when he comes out. He smiles, opening his mouth to say something reassuring about his state of mind, but before he can the lights on the plane flash overhead. Something is wrong. His stomach lurches. He tries to head back to his seat to grab Jiho's hand when suddenly there's a creaking sound and then.

They're falling; fast.

High pitched screams sound throughout the plane-- he knows they're his own, as well as the other members', mixing together to make one, horrified shriek that. It buzzes against his eardrums, drives him to his knees, causes his voice to go hoarse as he screams even louder. A feeling of weightlessness washes over him, dizziness and nausea following the unbearable sensation

Abruptly, his eyes open and he's sitting up in bed, chest heaving and body trembling.

Just a bad dream.

Title: Achluophobia
Taehyung-centric
Rating: pg-13
Summary: Fear is not irrational.
It is a silly thing to be afraid of the dark, or so it seems to everyone but Taehyung. His fear isn't irrational, he knows. There are things that lurk in the dark. Things that no one sees, but he knows they're there. They are watching, and listening, and waiting for the right moment to strike. They thrive in the dark, hum with anticipation when they watch him sleep. He is their prey, their next victim.

To Taehyung, the darkness is not really what one should be afraid of, but the things in it. The memories lurking in it. Wrong-doings that are associated with the night. Supernatural beings, even.

Darkness, to Taehyung, means evil. It means sinister things that go on and when he wakes up in the middle of the night, with nothing but the dim light of his plug in, he knows.

It is watching.
