wal-mart dissapointed me tonight. i went to find a frisbee and circled forever until asking a worker there. her reply was that they were out of season. i just sat there and expected her to start laughing and tell me she was joking. she didnt.
then i decided what i needed was an african violet. my grandmother used to have them behind my seat at the dinner table when i was young. they have fuzzy leaves and i remember always liking that. so when i'm checking out the lady at the register smashes her hand down on top of all the flowers to pick the thing up. my mouth fell open and some weird kind of noise came out. she looked at me, rose her eyebrows and said "what?" i replied with "watch the flowers" and she proceeded to look at me like i was a fucking bitch.
