I feel as if all of the people we meet at these festivals, these raves, these places of entertainment, are the gypsies of our generation. History does not often repeat itself. I think there's an evolution occuring. The hippies will meet the ravers. We'll call it jam and bass full of lights. And I don't know if it's just an illusion created within my mind of a unified group of people who seek truth and knowledge within the pleasures or if it is a definite trait of our generation. When they say it's all happening, do they mean it's been happening for the past decades or is it happening now, right at this moment, or is it an escalation to something greater. I can't exactly put a finger on it, I can study it though. Observe and learn.
I don't know what I can make out of all that is and all that is to come.
But All Good is this weekend. And I am excited. I will travel light. So it'll be easier to run away with the Rainbow Family.
I'm thinking of becoming a street artist. Actually, I think I am a street artist. In fact, I'm everything I want to be. Or becoming. Or maybe I'm just deluding myself.
Fuck man, here's a question, for myself and the few others. When you are 30 and you have a kid or two, will you still be going to these events, if you get the chance? Is this who you want to be and stay or will we all move on in due time to something more "civil"?
I just wonder. It's not an issue of maturity no longer. It's an issue of the choice of lifestyle you select.
So I guess the better question is, when we get bored, what's next?
