So, i kind of decided i'm going to try reccing one fic a month in 2015. One a month seems like a pretty easy-to-meet commitment, right? I'm getting right to in for January and reccing the best
hd_erised fic i could have hoped to receive.
Tea and No Sympathy by Someone Awesome Who Is

Content/Enticements: Slow build. Draco-centric. Copious amounts of tea and swearing. A little owl called Pipsqueak that likes to sit on heads. Heartfelt conversations. Sarcastic conversations :D Competitive board games. Even more tea and swearing. Falling in love. Getting a bit drunk. Sex in the Slytherin dormitory. Time travel (it's not as easy as it looks...)
Summary: It's Potter's fault, of course, that Draco finds himself trapped in the same twenty-four-hour period, repeating itself over and over again. It's been nearly a year since the unpleasant business at Hogwarts, and Draco's getting on with his life quite nicely, thank you, until Harry sodding Potter steps in and ruins it all, just like always. At first, though, the time loop seems liberating. For the first time in his life, he can do anything, say anything, be anything, without consequence. But the more Draco repeats the day, the more he realises the uncomfortable truth: he's falling head over heels for the speccy git. And suddenly, the time loop feels like a trap. For how can he ever get Harry to love him back when time is, quite literally, against him?
If that content list doesn't get you flustered with joy, i don't care what would, because that list was catnip to me. Emotionally i was rolling on the floor and pawing at the screen. When i finished the fic, i was pretty much literally leaping around and purring. If i could, i would rub my face ALL OVER this fic, marking it as mine.
Okay, enough with the cat analogies.
I just really fucking enjoyed it. So much Draco--so much well-written Draco. So much, and so many sides of, Harry. So much exploration of them both, over the same 24 hours. So many ways one day can go, so many ways one person can alter things. So many secondary characters whom i enjoyed, who added to the story, who had their own depth. So many words, wonderfully strung together; so much excellent writing.
So much love from me for this fic and its author ♥
