A sirius update ^_^ heheh

Today, Annette and I have uploaded v.6 of Disanthus. There are some stuff you should know: our downloads site (Anata) was no longer being updated, so we've put the wallpapers back in the main site. The current version of Disanthus is actually called Anata, sort of a tribute to the dead one :p You can find our wallpapers in the Courtyard section of

GAH, your Sirius is so beautiful it makes me want to weep. The subtle light, the way there seems to be real movement with the trees...just beautiful.

Mmm-hmm, you have a lovely website. I'm an art Niffler for FictionAlley, and I was so disappointed when I saw one of your Sirius works had already been Niffled, but ah, oh well. He's my favourite character and you truly do justice to him. Very pretty. :)

Yes, my first Sirius painting was Niffled - makes me feel more special than Harry ^^;

Thanks, I'm doing my best, though I haven't yet painted the 'perfect' Sirius, though my first painting (the 7th year Portrait) came as close to the Sirius I had in mind. This second Sirius painting shows more softness in his face, though I'm not entirely sure if that was a good thing :/ But it's good to know that he's pleasing to look at, nonetheless ^^

Mmm, I love the 7th year portrait - it's very different from your Respite picture of him - but there's this tranquility to him that's beautiful and strangely hot. Yep, very pleasing to look at. ;)

Yeah, there are two of us (though that sounded weird!) - Disanthus is also Annette, a comic-colourist whom I did a lot of collab artworks in the past. We've been a bit busy with our own individual works as of late (well, for a year or so, now) that we haven't really managed to do a lot of artworks together, like we've done in the past - and I work fast when I paint solo, which is why you've mostly seen my solo works on the site these days :) I just don't want to burden Annette with even more colouring work ^^;

I think he looks aristocratic (what I imagine it to be, at least) and maybe a little coldness in his eyes, perhaps a little arrogance, too.

'Respite' is a bit of an oddball painting in my eye, because I never really achieved what I wanted with that one.

In 'Respite' he does strike me as being arrogant with a sort of air of superiority. Oddball, really? It's a very beautiful painting, though, and *g* those are grey eyes, yes. :)
