Thinking about FF7 and AC
I'm on a break from writing right now (I really wasn't going anywhere, actually... with the writing, I mean), so I visited some FF7:AC sites and saw the new scan, it has a fairly good shot of "Wheelchair Man" and while most people already know who "Wheelchair Man" is (it was hinted at in a preview of the Venice screening, and I don't want to spoil it for you). I know how a lot of people are thinking that all these people who died in the FF7 game will somehow return to life, same goes for "Wheelchair Man" who supposedly died in the game, too.
Now it's rumoured that Zack is not as dead as we think. Hmmm.
If there's one person whom I think should stay dead - it's Aerith. Her coming back to life would really defeat the purpose of her sacrifice in the game, wouldn't it? I guess it's a matter of opinion, though, but I really dislike the type of thinking that Aerith should come back to life just because Cloud is pining for her. (And does no one think that Cloud can actually move on with his life?) Aerith died to summon Holy and although she may be roaming in the Lifestream, I don't think she'll ever return to the living world. Same goes for Sephiroth. I hope SquareEnix will not revive him, that would really make the game stink! Leave the multiple revivals to comicbooks.
Now, about Zack... Strange, strange Zack. It's rumoured that he might be alive and somewhere in the Sector 5 slum, or something. I think this was from one of the Japanese (game) magazine articles. I can live with this, Zack not having died in the game, I mean. I won't dismiss the theory that he could've survived being shot by those two ShinRa soldiers... As long as not all of them are suddenly not dead, after all -_- If so, I want a refund of the game :p
