Oh, thank you for this. A dose of fluff was just what I needed right now, and this was a great helping of it. I loved their interactions in this, how well they played off one another. And man, Gabriel is so the type who would make sure to watch the food cook.

Glad I could get you your dose of fluff; also glad it wasn't an overdose ;) Thanks for reading!

You know he would be totally OCD about his pasta. I mean, everyone hates overcooked pasta.

I'm pretty sure he'd be OCD about everything, honestly.

Agggh! Love this! Most especially your characterization of Sylar here--everything just feels totally spot-on: the curt way he talks to Elle ("Do you want to eat or not?"), the way he seems to just notice every tiny thing happening around him (be it bubbles lining the pot or Elle's underwear) ... It's like you took everything at the core of his character and then made it weirdly functional. Awesome.

And of course, I grasp onto the tiny bit of angst here: He wasn’t sure exactly what she was talking about, but he figured he’d always owe her something, all things considered, so he never really asked for specifics. Love this.

Ha, I hope that was a good "aggh."

I really try to reference canon aspects of them in all my fics, even in totally AU fluff like this. And I definitely worry my characterizations will be way off since it IS super AU. So I'm glad you picked up on that stuff because I definitely tried to weave it in as best I could.

rofl even in my fluff, I can't escape the angst. Especially with these guys, it's like, OOC if it's not there ;)

OH GOD. PERFECT. SO PERFECT. BRB CRYING IN JOYING.

He shrugged as a halfhearted apology. It was impossible to take her seriously anyway. For some reason she had skyscraper heels on, and her new Yankees baseball cap was twisted to sit on her head sideways, with the bill folded up as the cherry on the top of her bizarre outfit. She admittedly hated baseball, but she had bought it the minute they moved into their new apartment to show her “city pride,” as she called it.

She was absolutely ridiculous, and he loved every minute of it.

Elle. Oh my god. I love her SO MUCH. Also, I just love that paragraph as a New Yorker.

YAY. I'm glad you liked it <333 And haha, yeah, I was like "if I were Elle, and therefore ridiculous, what would I think would make me a "real" New Yorker?" And there it was ;) Glad you enjoyed it.
