Soooo Father signed the contract and we are officially in business together, the new Diagon Alley club should be pretty special, especially now i have more money to do it up. ah so i'm pretty excited but its keeping me away from Hogsmeade and my darling.
At Dinner last week Mother suggested something to the effect of dissolving the enchantment - Father didn't leave the table, he just smiled and changed the subject. still, the fact i'm even in his house (which should be mine - well should be would be mine) eating dinner is saying something. Would it be good to be part of the family again? I honestly don't know...but then with that comes the responsibility, the dinners, the lunches, the balls and cocktail parties...gah! i don't know if i can do that again, the whole Heir thing...i could just be sullen and unresponsive like my sister, that seems to work for her. Maybe i could stipulate conditions, ie: mother can't try and set me up with anyone - ever!
we'll see, probably never happen. Got an Owl from my littlest sister, something about goats and how does one care for a goat? Told her i'm not really experienced in that area but went and picked her up a book about livestock and i've sent it up to the castle so hopefully that will help. hve no idea why she wants to know, maybe its a care of magical creatures project...?
No word from the older little sister, i'm assuming she's happy as she's not burst into here and trashed my place, actually she seems rather calm. Mother remarked on her behaviour this summer as very subdued and sullen (no real change then, apart from the subduedness). Maybe she's got a bloke? thats got to be it!
Have done my "chivalrous male" thing for this month, spotted a redheaded girl at the club, she was pretty wasted and attracting quite a bit of male attention; so i escorted her home - back to Hogwarts. I really must have a word with our security about letting in underage kids (although she did claim to be of age! how she found a muggle club i'll have no idea) Quite a chatterbox is little Miss Weasley, told me all about her man woes - you should take more care of your girl Lestrange, she almost ended up in very bad company, just as well i was there. Thats another thing i need to talk to security about, the difference between a girl inviting attention and one that doesn't know what the fuck is going on but getting it anyway.
