I have just discovered a new show: Queer. As. Folk.

Sweet Jesus.

Anyone interested (and you all should be, the show is predominantly about gratuitous gay sex) should check out this site. Lots of pretty things to be had.

Thank you, I'll go check it out right now.

Did you get my other message? I fear I may have posted it to Betty122 by mistake! Well, just in case you haven't got it and can help me, here it is:

Help! I've done something awful! I've succumbed too far! Er, that is to say, I went to the video store today to rent disk 3 (which contains eps 8-11) and for some reason they apparently don't have it, but I was so eager to watch more I just rented disk 4 -- and now I have no idea what's going on. Justin's living with Michael's parents? Michael and Brian had some sort of fight? Ted's into S&M??? It was easy enough to sort of fill in some of the blanks, because you could see some things coming, but I'm still lost! Could you perhaps tell me, in a nut-shell, what happens in the four episodes I missed? I don't know if I'll ever get to see them, you see. *sobs*

And you were right. After much deliberation and review I have come to the conclusion that Brian Kinney is, in fact, sex on two legs.

And that Justin has a disgustingly attractive ass.

That is all.

Thanks so much!

I was in Target today and S1 was on sale. I've owned S1 for almost two years and didn't look at the price, but if it's on sale, that means less than $50.00. Deduct what it is costing you to rent, add the convenience of being able to review important developments, and then ask yourself if you can afford to buy.

I'll just give you the Brian/Justin storyline unless other storylines have impact there.

108: Justin's father reacts very strongly to Justin's coming out - I think this is the episode with a very hot scene where Dad imagines Brian fucking Justin - and he tracks them down outside of Babylon and tries to beat Brian up. Later he rams the Jeep with his car, twice, but Brian isn't hurt. He queens it up quite a bit, though. Brian tries to reconcile Justin with his parents, but Dad is an asshole about it, so Brian takes Justin home.

109: Baby Gus gets sick, and Melanie and Lindsay take him to the hospital. The staff won't let Melanie go back with Lindsay and Gus to the examining/treatment room, but Brian can because he's the biological parent. Melanie and Lindsay ask Brian to sign over his parental rights, and Brian is pretty much persuaded. Justin, still hurting from his father's rejection, talks Brian out of it.

110: Omigod, you missed one of my two favorite episodes, outside of the pilot. Justin is still living with Brian. He goes out to his sister's birthday party and gets very depressed at not being part of the family anymore. He walks around for a while, and when he gets back to the loft, discovers he has left the loft unlocked and Brian has been burgled. Brian is furious. He throws Justin out on his ear, and Justin runs away to NYC, funding the trip with Brian's credit card. Debbie and everybody else get on Brian's case, and he goes to NYC to retrieve Justin and his credit card. "Road trip, road trip:" Michael, Emmett, and Ted go with him. When the hotel charges hit Brian's credit card, he knows where Justin is and goes to the hotel alone. Justin seduces him and we have more of that gratuitous sex that keeps us tuning in. When they get back to the Pitts, Brian asks Debbie to let Justin live with her, and she agrees.

111: Michael's 30th birthday party. Michael has been going with a chiropracter, David, who wants Michael to move in with him. Michael has been vacillating, partly because Brian does everything he can think of, including some very unfraternal kissing, to keep Michael on a string. Debbie calls Brian on his behavior and tells him to let Michael go. Brian throws a huge, elaborate party for Michael and at the climax, with all of his friends there, outs Michael to a co-worker with a crush on Michael. She is very hurt and Michael is furious. Brian is left alone and sad.

After much deliberation and review I have come to the conclusion that Brian Kinney is, in fact, sex on two legs.

The man is HOT.

And that Justin has a disgustingly attractive ass.

Yep, and it's not technically enhanced. I saw Randy Harrison in Equus last summer, a play that calls for his character to be stark staring naked for about 20 minutes. A beautiful man. Great play. He's playing Mozart in "Amadeus" in July, and I will be there again even though I'm pretty sure Wolfie kept his pants on. I'm on the fangirl bus, big time. FanSee

Thanks so so so so much! Phew, now I understand a bit more. But I still want to see the episodes! *wails*

You saw Randy Harrison nude??? The boy likes his body. Er, I know nothing about Equus. What was the play about?

Brian Kinney. Sex on two legs. The lips, the tongue, the voice, the pout, the slightly over-gelled hair... Nummy.

I'll get back to you later. :)

Thanks so much!
