DISENCHANTMENT PLOT PROGRESSION
Please note that this is not the extent of Disenchantment plot. There are many things planned that will be brought out to surprise the players just as much as the students! This is a timeline for reference, and a springboard for plot!
BEFORE DISENCHANTMENT BEGINS
AUGUST
- [ 01 ] - Ministry of Magic falls to Voldemort's control, Thicknesse proclaimed Minister of Magic
- [ 04 ] - Muggle-born Registration Committee sends summons to all Muggle-borns to come for interview.
- [ 10 ] - Kevin Entwhistle (Muggle-Born) is no longer heard from. (students who know him may possibly deduce that he is in Azkaban)
- [ 12 ] - Hogwarts letters arrive with a notice all that students are required to attend (Ernie and Padma are both sent 'Head' badges, Seamus and Jane are not yet appointed prefects).
- [ 20 ] - The Creevy brothers, Dean, Sally-Anne and Justin are no longer heard from. (various deductions may be made, truth will come out during gameplay)
DISENCHANTMENT BEGINS
SEPTEMBER
- [ 01 ] - Padma, Parvati, and Anthony begin passing out the journals and teaching other students (initially those in the D.A.) how to duplicate the charm as soon as they arrive on the train.
Train is stopped one hour from King's Cross, all students are lined up and blood statuses are checked. Benjamin Dover is announced as a Muggle-born and taken from the train by Death Eaters. Padma, Ernie, and Draco are taken into a private hall and Ernie is stripped of his Head Boy badge, it is given to Draco, and Padma is interrogated by the Carrows. At the Great Hall, Severus Snape is announced as Headmaster, the Carrows are introduced, and the students learn that they are now to be taking Muggle Studies. - [ 02 ] - Classes begin (Friday). Both 7th and 6th years will have Muggle Studies.
