life is not so bad
this weekend, or maybe this whole month has just been so eventful. thursday, sushi.. friday, opera.. saturday, diwali dinner.. sunday, brunch with joe's hall profs..
and i just realized that fall break is this friday, thank goodness.
too much to do before then though.
i almost miss the days when i could update this every day and all i did was get on aim and chat with my friends for hours and pine over dumb boys.. maybe not though.
i've had some really good times. i need to realize more often that i am very very lucky.
pretty terrible but when i should have been studying, i accidentally stumbled across my old journal that i *thought* had deleted but turns out, there it is.. and since i really only have a certain number of passwords i use, it wasn't hard to get into it again.
and then i got engrossed in reading about my teenage angst back from 2002 when i first dated eric, and then jumped into the kaushal thing, dealt with my family issues, spent my days at caitie's house, having deep conversations with luders, to the lunch table junior year, meeting joe for the first time and then the nhood boys and khiem..
i'm SO glad i didn't delete that journal just because i was sad about khiem, there are so many good quotes and tidbits in there from the past that i c/ped the best ones and kept them aside to put here so i don't forget..
...i love all the people in my life.

what a strange week.
i was kinda sad yesterday, but i talked to joe for a bit and it cheered me up.. ^^ hehe, thats the first time i've ever made that face.. i'll be ok, mis amigos aqui.. :-P
its been fun having lunch in nicholson's room, lol.. even tho im still sorta scared of her, or as chris would say "scurred", and yes, its luders. but she seems nice. today mu and joe spent the time getting grossed out by julie's.. vein was it? and her pressure points and all the weird stuff she can do with her hands.. and the fact that she doesn't seem to feel pain.. hm.
im glad i met so many new people this year. i mean, i've kinda known them all along but now i talk to them more and its nice. i would list them but im lazy.. you know who you are.. i think.

my grades were alright, need to work on physics, hate hate hate the class.

well.. saturday night, i was expecting to be bored, sari's bday party, i love her, but we have a completely different set of friends. the guys were khiem, andy, babar, eric, and joe. then it was shang, michelle, lianne, and some soph. elizabeth.. all the guys were cute, in my opinion.
joseph wouldn't stop yelling my name and making me do stupid stuff with the guys so i wouldn't be bored.
OMG. LOTR WAS SO GOOD. it was really amazing. and i didn't remember the other 2, well, i haven't seen the second one, and i don't really have any desire to. and i don't want to see the 3rd one AGAIN cuz it was too long. but it was SO GOOD! i thought i'd get a little nap during the movie but it was way too interesting. esp Orli. holy shit. i was very impressed.
after, michelle took zebo, shang, and elizabeth home and sari told me to stay and hang out with the guys.
only thing was, when they left, we realized that it was one car, and 7 of us. that was pretty bad, babar is the smallest out of all of us, so we made him sit in the front with andy and khiem, hahaha. and then it was eric, me, sari, and joseph in the back. a VERY tight squeeze but it was a lot of fun.
we got to khiem's neighborhood.. apparently, eric, joseph, babar, sebastian, AND cherri live there too! and we didn't know which house to go to cuz it was like past 12 and their parents were sleeping. we got sebass to join us and cherri too and then hung out in joseph's basement till we went home around 12:40. it was pretty fun.
i like having a new group of guys to hang out with, they're so much more fun than kaushal and karan and all of them. maybe cuz im tired of them. but these guys are way more gentlemanly and funny.

we called joe, whose parents were having some party at his house.. so we went over there since we hadn't eaten and omg. REALLY good food.. he might bring some to lunch, ahh. we ate so much.
his dad sings opera and i think he just came back from some place so they were watching his tapes.. i'd never been to a.. chinese party, hehe, im sure they must have been a little weirded out to see me there, eating their food, but it was yummy.
and me and joe love the same music so we went to his computer and were listening and singing along.. khiem was bored so we burned it and eric was online so told him to come over..
haha, our pointless journey.. we just drove around in the car thru random neighborhoods, mainly cuz me and joe wanted to sing along to our music, which we did really loudly. doesn't help that neither of us can really carry a tune, and then he wanted me to pat his head.. weirdo.
after like.. 40 minutes, we went back to joe's house since eric couldn't leave the nhood and watched prince of egypt with debbie, omg, she's SO CUTE. and she sings along with all the songs, she's actually really good too, even tho its just mumbling in the right notes.
