DISNEYLAND PICTURES

So, as some of you know, I got to go to Disneyland for my birthday back in February. I finally finsihed touching up the photos (I wasn't very diligent of getting it done) and now they're ready to share!

If you know me in RL, I find it manditory to take a picture on the tram from the parking lot to the park. Kim on the left, I'm on the right. 8D

And guess who we got to see for a little bit? D_A's own Sere (Aqua)! She was so sweet and welcoming; you can be sure I'm going to make sure to see her again soon!

The Matterhorn:

The only nice picture of me during the entire trip. I wasn't all that photogenic that day ^^;

A random atmosphere picture I took~. It reminded me of Tarzan meets Atlantis (seeing as the Jungle Cruise ride takes place around the time of Atlantis~.)

On the Jungle Cruise boat~. This is one of my favorite pictures I took. NOTICE THE PISTOL? I jumped when our guide shot it. BECAUSE I AM A FLINCHER AND I FREAK AT LOUD NOISES VERY EASILY.

Headhunters are near. /sneaky eyes

THEY ARE PIRRANAHS FROM THE AMAZON.

Next to the Jungle Cruise is the Aladdin room (I can't remember the right name OTL), and you can see this wall from the cruise boat. CAN ANYONE READ ARABIC?

So, here's the really SUPER AWESOME SPEICIAL part of the trip. We went during the Mardi Gras celebration! So all of New Orleans Square was done up for the event!

See? SEE? Look at the lampost! HOW COOL IS THAT?

The full costume characters started off the festival, parading down New Orleans Square; Mickey and Minnie ran away, but Donald and Pluto stayed for pictures.

AND A LIVE JAZZ BAND. HELL YEAH. Kim and I hoofed it to their music, swing dancing for a bit; then Pluto came and danced with me~ (I had the camera, so no picture proof ;;)

But here's Pluto dancing with someone else!

On the way down into the Indiana Jones ride. It's a bat, man. /shot

Beware of the booby traps on the way to the car!

Look! It's Louis, the back of Naveen's head, and the Mardi Gras dancers! These characters, as far as I understand, only come out during special events.

AND NAVEEN!!! Look how happy he is! And his voice was amazing, for the record. Unfortunately, I couldn't quite catch Tia; they were moving. It was a miracle as it was that I got this. ;w;

End of the parade, as the characters walk back into the cast member only area.

LOOK WHO WE FOUND IN FANTASYLAND?

Alice and Reginold Hatter ran away, but we stayed to get pictures with Mary and Bert~.

Waiting for the Snow White ride:

The clocktower in Fantasyland:

Aladdin's Other Lamp in the Baazar in Adventure Land:

And, of course, you can't visit Disneyland and not go watch and listen to their barbershop quartet, The Dapper Dans!

And then we went to San Francisco. (Aka California Adventure)

We walked around towards the Grand Californian Hotel area of CA Adventure, and they had a bluegrass band playing! Because I had a birthday button on, I even got to play on a washboard with them! Sooo much fun! Unfortunately, my computer ate the pictures. I can't open the files any more. ;w;

Then we skedaddled over to the Hollywood area of CA Adventure, and GOT TO SEE ALADDIN ON STAGE! It was shortened greatly, some of the characters (like Abu) were missing, and the plot was changed around, but it was so much fun, and Genie was fbjdvakbjdfvkjadbbk HI-LAR-IOUS. I highly recommend seeing it!

Waiting for the play to start! SO SUPER EXCITE.

WE FOUND WOODY! He was hiding out in the Leggo store in Downtown Disney. We were trying to kill time while we waited for our reservation at the Rainforest Cafe.

And this is why I don't think they'll let me into ComiCon, when I do eventually get to go one of these years. NO RESPECT FOR MY ELDERS. But, BAW look how tiny I am. Kim at least reached his shoulders like a normal human being. ;;

Sleeping Beauty's Castle at night~. Sorry for the crap quality. My camera is completely touch screen, and the touch part of the screen died, so it's forever stuck on Automatic. ;;

You can fly, you can fly, you can fly! We saved the Peter Pan ride for last; I swear, even though it's super cheesy and isn't all that different from the other storybook rides, it's one of the busiest rides in the park. There's usually still 30 people still waiting in line 5 minutes before the park closes, according to one of the lovely ladies in the Bippidi Boppidi Boutique. We were lucky and only had to wait a few minutes to get on; somehow. ;w; But as soon as we got off, the annoucement came that the park was closed.

And because it's tradition for my family to take pictures of our hotel rooms... Look at all my lovely crap on my bed! Cogsworth, my pink Peter Pan hat, my purse... the bag the rain ruined but inside is the PERFECT REPLICA OF LOTTIE'S SOUTHERN BELLE HAT OMG I CAN BELIEVE I FOUND ONE.

And finally, the last picture. The hotel was super nice and left me a red velvet cupcake and a birthday card. Unfortunately, the cupcake made me sick and I ended up vomiting in the wee hours of the morn; but hey, it tasted good going down at least.

AND THAT'S ALL FOLKS. HOPE YOU ENJOYED THE OVERLOAD OF PICTURES!
