Elizabeth had spent a few hours gathering what ingredients she could around campus. While there wasn't much fresh produce and meats to choose from, she made due with what she could find. Simmering over the small kitchen stove was a pot of traditional English beef stew. Despite that she has not been in a kitchen for quite some time, she managed to remember the recipe... the same one her father had greatly enjoyed in the past. Dipping a wooden ladle into the pot, she pulled it up to her lips and blew slightly before spooning some into her mouth.
Almost. Lips pursed, she hums, concentrated. More pepper? Perhaps just a dash...
If you take a look, there's a table set with two place settings. They're not your most fancy china, but everything needed is there. Two bowls, two sets of silverware, two wine glasses, and napkins. A bottle of red wine sits in the center, the cork already pulled out and rolled halfway across the small table. After all, wine needs to breathe.
As Elizabeth hums a song she can't remember words to she used to hear on the Pearl, she sways a little and and hopes the bread in the oven doesn't burn. Oh no... did she forget to add yeast?
"Stupid...UGH. That's what I get for being a bloody pirate and not having a bloody kitchen."
After a little bit of angry mumbling, she reaches into the oven and pulls out the un-risen bread. Flatbread for the stew it is.
