Ven was glad it was the weekend, as he'd spent most of the day just derping about the library reading and or doing homework. He'd enjoyed it, but now he was looking forward to dumping his books and maybe finding Aqua or Terra for a spar or something.
What he wasn't expecting was a wave of anger the closer he got to his room and he froze just a bit. Oh. Crap. He could either turn and walk the other way, which would... probably make whatever the crap had ticked Vanitas off worse, or he could... face his Other.
Maybe it was the fact that he'd askeddragged Mera to the Prom.... With a small swallow, he pushed the door open and left it open because he always did that before he put his books down on the bed.
The door swings shut, almost slamming. And in seconds, Vanitas is approaching his other, almost like a cat stalking a mouse. He is most definitely not happy, and that much is showing.
"Hello, Ventus."
It's spoken almost bitterly. Like he almost can't stand to say the name right this second. And those gold eyes are kind of glinting dangerously. He knows, Ventus. He knows about that broken promise. And he's not going to be accepting any apologies.
Of course he jumped at the door almost slamming. Oh Light - there goes that escape plan..
"He-hey, Vanitas." He's backing back - matching steps perfectly, not taking his gaze off Vanitas now that he knows he's there. He knew that his Other was angry over - Something. And Ven has a sinking feeling that he'd been fou- no, he'd been found out. And yet, he'd still came. Stupid of him really. This... really wasn't good because how in the blazes did Vanitas find out? He'd been careful. "Maybe we can talk about this?"
Even if he knows, in his heart, that the placating gesture won't work, he still holds his hands up. A small swallow and there's a nervous grin on his face, along with a rather fearful flicker in his eyes.

He can always hope, right?
