Ariel burst into the room without knocking, a huge smile on her face. She was determined to have as much fun as she possibly could.

"Hi, Alana!"

Following closely behind her was Astrid, who didn't look nearly as eager. She stood back for the moment, giving Alana the chance to greet this other girl first.

"Ariel! Astrid!" Alana greeted both girls with enthusiasm, before beginning the introductions. "Astrid, this is my sister Ariel. Ariel, this is my friend Astrid."

She had arranged cushions and chairs to sit on around the room and cleared off her bed. Every conceivable surface of the dresser was covered with some sort of beauty product, and there were a couple of large and neatly arranged makeup kits in a box on the floor as well.

Ariel flopped down on one of the cushions and began rummaging through the makeup kit on the floor.

"Nice to meet you, Astrid!" she chirped. She turned to Alana. "What's all this stuff for?"

"Yeah. You too." Astrid mumbled in return. Sitting down opposite Ariel, she scoffed at her next words. "Excellent question."

Alana sat down facing both of them, pointing to each item in the makeup kit. "That's an eyeshadow pallette, those are eyeshadow brushes, that's foundation, that's powder, those are lipstick, these are eyeliner, this is mascara..."

Of course, she'd have to explain how each of them worked, but that was best done as a demonstration.

"Of course, before putting any of those on, it's best to wash your face so it's fresh and clean."
