001 ♍ Let Me Dream ♍ Locked to Aisling, Xigbar, and Aqua

Feb 03, 2011 14:15

Where: Radiant Garden in appearance...
When: Noon
Who: Ienzo "Zexion" Orosco, Aisling, Aqua, and Xigbar
What: Xigbar warned of a twisted nightmare from a child's skull, but maybe saving Zexion from a life he used to have will be all the more difficult...
Warnings: Drama, possible angst and equally possible mentions of horrific experiments. Oh, and watch out so you don't get gored by the majestic teal deer.

Ask yourselves this, rescuers: Where were you when the Strangelings found you? Were you squirreled away in your room, alone and regretting not being able to do something? Frightened of the power which seemed, time and time again, to conquer the protection the academy had promised? Were you trying to keep your cool, figure out a plan? Were you trying to forget it all?

Either way, how miserable and dark the atmosphere has been.

But you're not in it. Not anymore.

The ground you stand on now isn't covered in snow, and there is no gloomy sky over your heads. The sun shines like a beacon of hope in a cloudless sky. Such beautiful weather, isn't it? Not too hot, not too cold, the weather is perfect for playing, relaxing, anything you could wish. When you breathe in, the air is tainted only by beautiful things- the pure scent of plants of all kinds, but flowers especially so.

Aisling, the little fae who never left her forest, you may not know this place, and perhaps you once visited, Aqua, but either way, you may only know that it is beautiful and radiates a kindness in every stone, flower, and person who smiles at the three of you as they walk by. But Xigbar... Ah, you know this place, don't you? You know it well.

The pavement and a few of the buildings are built from a beautiful white stone, one which seems to shine a pale blue-purple which the light hits it just right. What buildings not made of the stone are well built nonetheless from sturdy woods which add further life in their pale yellows and oranges. Not that it's necessary to add life in this place...

This isn't just a modern place, after all, like New York or the Orleans. This is a mixture, a place where both old and new is treasured, technology and nature reaching a strange but kind understanding with one another. Flowers bloom everywhere, from the carefully kept plants in plazas to wild things curling around the sides of houses to little pots set in window sills. There's nowhere that is not without the presence of some sort of plant-life.

In the plaza you three stand in, there is a large and beautifully crafted fountain- yes, of the same white stone you see everywhere else. Towering over you up a few levels of houses and markets, there stands a bizarre castle. It seems put together like some bizarre jigsaw puzzle of every fairytale castle you've ever heard of, but with the pale purples and pinks and oranges of a sunset. You won't find a sight like this elsewhere.

There are all sorts of people walking past you, just engaging in day to day life- children playing, people talking, workers working... They all seem happy. Are you really in the mist? Are you really in that thing which drained the academy of hope and joy so easily, leaving you cowering in the dark?

Regardless, you don't see the young boy you're looking for with the messy slate-blue hair and academy uniform. Not immediately, anyway.

But please, enjoy your stay! Why would you want to leave such a beautiful, happy place anyway?

Welcome to Radiant Garden.
