What: There may be dining, there may be dancing, but whatever it is, it's totally not a date.
A little past sunset, Goliath landed on the roof of Joe West. Anyone else picking up a friend for a night out might go to that friend's door, but since he and Elisa would have to take off from the roof anyway, meeting there was more convenient.
He hung from the edge of the roof and tapped on her window with a claw, much as anyone without wings would knock on the door. Knowing the gargoyles as she did, Elisa probably expected him this way.
