Hades wouldn't let anything happen to his amazing little henchgirl, so she decided taking a step outside would be acceptable.
It was stuffy in the dorm building. And there was nothing to do. Nothing. And while she was generally approachable, she wasn't exactly sociable.
She's sitting close to the building, on a bench, for a quick retreat, but far out enough to be in sight.
Meg could've heard Moze from a mile away with how loud he'd been, so she peered up from under the mess of hair she'd been arranging.
"And what's your problem?"

Without his power Meg felt... bland. He couldn't feel her aura or see the influences of death's touch on her. She was suddenly as worthless as all the rest. "Why do you care anyway?"
Reply
She finished pulling her hair up, and she gave him a look that she'd normally give someone she thought didn't deserve her time of day.
And if he was going to act like this, she wouldn't give it to him.
"Well, if it's none of my concern-" she mimicked. "-Then I guess I don't care all that much."

When he squeezed it was anything but gentle. Hard enough to leave very wicked-looking marks on her pale skin and cut off her flow of air.
"Do not taunt me." He hissed hatefully, those dark eyes full of anger and... humiliation? She had embarrassed the Lord, and he was insecure enough to be unable to take it.

She was used to the abuse, but nothing this terrible. Nothing this hateful or full of rage.
Sputtering for air, she decided it'd gotten this bad, why not pour some salt into that wound?
"So much for--" she wheezed. "The thrill of the chase, huh...?"
Her head began to spin at the lack of oxygen.

Why did he hate her so much now?
He suddenly released her neck, glaring off to the side as if he couldn't look at her.
"Don't be so stupid."
His voice had lost it's bite and he began his retreat - back to his room and away from that confusing woman. Even his eel look bewildered - not because Mozenrath had strangled Meg, but because he had stopped.

She pulled it back out furiously, frustrated at his anger, and of course, her hair.
"Whatever. Jerk." Her voice was still hoarse, and she wondered why she ever gave him the time of day in the first place.

He took care to circle the pair (at least, he assumed it was a pair, judging by the different scents), whoever they were, and prowled forward with the wind so the fog kept him reasonably well-concealed. As he approached he saw the figures emerge, just shadows at first, and one seemed to be releasing the other from a grip.
"Well, well." And almost instantly he was right behind them, his tone icy. "What do we have here?"
Reply
"Nothing. Go away."
Mozenrath couldn't walk the walk without his powers, but he was dumb enough at that moment to keep talking the talk. It was probably from the shock of it all.
Reply
"Manners, Mozenrath," he chided. "Now perhaps you would like to explain yourself. Or," glancing at Meg, "you will inform me instead. I have little preference."
Reply
"Maybe when I can breathe."
Ooo, thrown under the bus. She still rubbed her neck, and knew that it would bruise something fierce later.
That'd be a fun one to explain.

He crossed his arms across his chest, his eyes closed with a deep sulking pout on his lips and an annoyed furrow to his eyebrows.
"There's nothing to explain."

He gave them a moment to answer, then pressed, "No? Then perhaps you'd like to enlighten me on the reason you were holding Megara in such a manner, Mozenrath."
Reply
"Either punish us or shut up and leave us alone!"
Reply
"Megara, as you are my resident I would have expected you to know better than to wander out. However, this fool demands much more of my attention than you do at this point, so you may escort yourself back to Joe West. We will discuss the matter of your punishment later, as well as the dreadful marks on your neck."
"And you. You shall come with me." And Scar seized Mozenrath's cape in his teeth, dragging the young man behind him as he started towards the academic building.

"Release me! Stop! No!" Whine. Whine. Whine. Xerxes could only stare in absolute shock from the entire ordeal.
