Some of you may or may not know this, but back in October (I believe it was) my favorite Aunt (the Charleston one) went into a coma because of complications with her triple bypass surgery. After about two weeks in the coma, she miraculously came out of it, which was a major blessing for the whole family.
Now that she's out of the coma she has to be rehabilitated, because the body has basically atrophied. Because she is older (I think 64 or 65) but healthy and spirit-filled (I mean 60 is the new 40) blood circulations is a problem. She has undergone in the three months rehabilitation therapy and, I believe, 3 surgeries where they have amputated two fingers and most recently her feet. Yet, she still remains just as spirit-filled and uplifting as she ever was. I talked to her on Christmas day, and she sounded in amazing spirits, so filled with life.
I want to be like her. I want to have that kind of life force. When she was in her coma, people from all over the country called to check on her, offered their help, etc. If she would have died, her funeral would have been large with many people there to mourn her loss. But, the prayer and good vibes sent from people all over the country helped her recover. She is a woman with a big an beautiful heart, she has always put others before herself, and she will have a seat (I'm sure) as a Saint in heaven.
It's true, sometimes angels do come down from heaven.
family,
