I think you are right about the politics of what goes on in most trans communities (mtf and ftm). There is no room for discussion or dissent, thats how I ended up on the outs with LJ's trans communities, long before capping and discussing trans isues in my own space where I wouldnt be banned.
One has to wonder where does the young man or young woman go who decides transition just wasnt right for them. I've seen these folks attacked for even suggesting de-transitioning. It is those folks I write for and the invisible women like me. To show there are many more ways to be a man or woman rather than the limited views society allows. Sometimes I show that with heart and other times by being an asshole, but sometimes being an asshole is whats required.
Regarding the last comment on your post by mels, not true. I use caps from lots of trans communities to illustrate points I wish to make, stalking has never been among them, nor have I ever considered myself "trans". Trans is something applied to me by the ignorant who cannot understand how I could be a happy/proud woman and look the way I look.
