or at least posting patterns. i meant to post earlier but then there wasn't much to post about and i only really got around to starting something yesterday and i thought to myself, but that will mess up my lovely pattern of posting.
so here i am, posting on a friday. there's some debate as to whether we will have a soccer game tomorrow as the weather here has been clear, dry and damned cold. so now they're closing fields!! *%Y#$%*&@ seriously!! too wet, too cold, jesus, it's WINTER. what do people expect??
my weekend was scheduled to be pretty busy: brunch tomorrow with former-roommate!K and then soccer game almost stateside in tsawwassen. then dinner with karlos to see her wedding dress. sunday long run (20km) in the morning followed by scampering out to langley to go to karlos' surprise wedding shower. which i somehow have to find out my alloted gift to go with the theme. mostly my weekend seemed to involve a lot of travelling to the far outreaches of greater vancouver. yeesh. hopefully my soccer game will come through, i don't see how our weather will get any better conditions moving forward and this is the first cup game.
work is improving but i really have got to get sorted what i'd rather be doing so that when the time comes and i'm able to transition, i'll know what the hell i'm looking for. it isn't what i'm doing now and i don't think it's anything that really applies to my degree so that just leaves desire...which i am sadly lacking. i'll have to ponder the matter.
i've sent off the last of my permanent residency fees so that brings me current with everything that the consulate has requested from me. it's all about waiting now. crap. i hate waiting. time to start a new puzzle to distract myself i think. or maybe i could review some of my textbooks to remind myself of why i spent five years in university. i could start any number of hobbies. oh the possibilites.
