she's back
and in front of a computer no less. par-tay. after spending half the week in the seclusion of my apartment, i have decided that i really do need to replace my laptop and regain access to the internets from home. grand plans aside, we'll see what a payment plan can work out. it won't be a mac, but i'll just have to make do.
soccer game over the weekend went as well as it could considering we were playing one of the dirtier teams on gravel. my knee has not become infected and we won 1-0 so i'll consider it a success. our next game is tomorrow morning and we start our cup games next week. we're doing pretty well in the rankings, a far cry from last year's second to last position. i'm going to play tomorrow and still run on sunday (though i haven't decided if for 7km or 18km) so we'll see what that does to my recovery from the virus that is taking out everyone i know.
i've spent most of this morning trying to get tech support. i forgot what a lengthy process of checking basic buttons must commence before we get anywhere. oh well. i have high hopes for my tech support chat friend.
has anyone seen the sarah conner chronicles? thoughts? i was happy to see young river gets another acting gig (also, random spotting inara in SG1 last night! holy cow, farscape actors and firefly actors in the last seasons of SG1? no wonder it didn't last, it was too good to be true). i was thinking that sarah's skirt was pretty short for a working mom and also that young john is awfully whiny. overall though, it might prove some basic entertainment given what little else is airing at the moment.
