well cats and kittens, your intrepid transplant canuck has survived the worst that the lower mainland of british columbia could throw at her. my running partner and i came across the finish line at the same time -- two minutes under our training goal of 2 hours and 30 minutes. the official result is 2 hours 27 minutes and 54 seconds. official

awww, thanks. my mind is already putting a haze over it so that i'm thinking, oh, it wasn't not so bad. i didn't really want to die and/or have someone put me out of my misery. but i think i'm going to stick with it. it can only get better...right?
