So we just moved to our third unit for Brit Survey II, and I had to read the intro to the modern era and a couple of poems. With this new unit comes use of the third volume F of the Norton Anthology: The Twentieth Century and After. I decided to peruse the table of contents to see if I found anything of interest and I most certainly did! Tom Stoppard's Arcadia! I've been wanting to read that play ever since Charlotte and I spoke about it last semester, but every copy in the KSU library was lost or missing to some end, and I've been too cheap/lazy/busy to go out and purchase a copy elsewhere. This is a double bonus because I am required to bring the anthology to class anyways, so I don't have to carry another book around in my backpack. One tiny little play doesn't sound like much to add to a backpack, but when you're in 15 hours of English courses, it adds up. Anyways, it is late now, but I shall begin (and quite possibly finish) Arcadia tomorrow (or I may save it and read it this weekend when I don't have a linguistics test looming ahead).
