Safety pins, PPP, Big Dog, and Rome
Hey, I am in Florence right now in the computer lounge. Rome was a blast! We saw the Colusseme first thing after checking into our rooms. At dinner everyone was tired. The dinner was alright, but if everyone was awake then the food might have tasted better. Anyway. The next day we went to the Vatican. It was amazing. I bought a couple of things from the gift store and had them blessed by the Pope. Cool! Then we went to the Vatican musuisms and saw the Sistine Caple. It is smaller than it looks like on TV. Then for dinner we had pizza, which was great! Then we all hung around the various piazzi around town. The vendors are worse than in New York! They just coming at you until you buy something. Today we got on the bus to go to Florence. There was a market where they sold everything! Toys, books (in Italian), food, magizines, and other odds and ends.When we reached Florence I bought a Pinicno puppet. Then we all saw a demo about Italian leather and gold, main trade items. I bought a cool hat, that reminds me of the hats British rockers would wear with the leather pants and the leater vest. When we got to the hotel, my roomates discovered 2 beds for 3 guys. Forunatly we got the situation fixed, by having the big bed slit into two. Yay!! Anyway, it is getting close to go to dinner. It is 7:00 pm here and 10:00 in the States. Talk to you later.
