I started this journal in 2005 as "hopelessfallenstar" - having come from blogspot. The allure being that only people I chose to read my posts could. This journal served me well then as the small space my angst-ridden teenage self could occupy. I renamed myself somehwhere in the early 2010s to "dirtyromance" and it was my handle across the internet. A turning point in my life that moved from teenage whining to frequent ruminations on becoming an adult and dating. I have made some solid friendships under that handle.
Truthfully I left this journal behind some years ago when I picked up in my career. I traded it in for instagram and a physical journal. I attempted to resurrect it repeatedly but I do not resonate with the name any more which constantly made me throw it to the wayside. So a formal flouncement from my past self as a bid farewell to this faithful friend...
