I have no culinary skills

I am at work, hands flitting over the keyboard like birds (I love typing. These are my piano keys, black and white, the ivory, melody making letters symbols hieroglyphs...), taking a break, how sly, to update this journal. A break from typing in silly theses titles like - 'Cyclo-trimerisation reactions of alkynes' and 'Time resolved studies of singlet oxygen and some olefin triplet states'. Yeah, oh baby.

I have discovered something so beautiful, so sublime, so deliciously debauched I don't know if I ought to share it. It could be my best-kept secret, or perhaps I was just the last to hear of it. This goes way above the British habit of dunking biscuits in tea. It out-refines the French and their wine-dunked madeleines. Dark chocolate (preferably chocolate/orange) dipped in red wine. The sexiest dessert (or in my case - dinner) imaginable. We were drinking a Chilean cabernet sauvignon, but I guess a merlot could be just as effective. A shiraz, however, might just push one over the edge. A chocolate/wine overdose could be lethal. Oh but how enjoyable.

My hair is rebelling; rabble-rousing; raucous. Stoopid hair. And my eye-makeup has taken on a life of its own (or perhaps that of Jackie Stallone or Courtney Love's makeup - a Frankenmonster mesh of the two I expect). It appears to be crawling down my cheeks. Damn it, I think it needs a leash. It's a good job I work with students and not members of the 'real and altogether more general' public.
I'm thinking, thinking, what to do tonight... Work on the zine? (I need more text people. I have tons of fantabulous artwork, but I'm most ravenous for your words), work on the short story? (a title, a title), play with the new camera I finally got yesterday for my birthday? Yes, play play play... Oh I seem to be in a most rambling and ellipses mood today...
