I told Matty about his mom shortly after i posted last. He was mostly just disappointed that she had broken her promise to tell him the truth about how things are going.
It sucks that we live out here so he can't spend time with her, but he is happy here. who knows what the future holds. Maybe Kathy has faith that she can beat this.
it looks like it's nice out today. it's very sunny without a cloud in the sky. Looks can be deceiving. It's almost -10 below zero and the wind chill is -25. I love being inside on days like this and watching everything glimmer like diamonds. Being outside is so painful, it's so cold you feel like it sucks every bit of warmth out of you and it burns. How could such a pretty day be so deadly? I have been here almost three years but it still amazes me how a place could have weather like this. The birds outside don't seem to mind. weird.
