I wonder what it's like for non-creative people? I wonder what's like not to have ideas and plots and characters and voices inside their heads all the time. The idea alone that not everyone's mind is a mess and tangle of voices and ideas and untold stories is unfathomable to me. As a writer myself, I am often plagued with ideas and voices daily to the point of great disruption.
What is it that non-creative people think about? How do they go about their daily lives and not find great ideas or have bouts of inspiration? Is there a difference genetically between the way creatively inclined people think and non-creative people think?
It baffles me that I can create an image in my mind and from that image then create a whole universe in my head and characters with lives and a plot or idea and yet; other people, like my friends, simply cannot. I am talking mainly about writing and script writing here but much the same can be said for other artistic forms.
I believe writers, more so than any other creative entity, are more inclined to this 'difference of thoughts' as I'll call it. I think the ability writers have to create whole different worlds and to explain them so beautifully on paper is greatly intriguing. Why is it that some people think differently like this and others don't?
Anyway, that was my musings or ramblings of the day. Feel free to ignore it or discuss. :)
