so Jonathan is going to spend about $3000 to take me to the Bahamas in May for a civil ceremony to save himself a few hundred k that his ex is going to try to bloodlet out of him. good logical math there. that way she can't bring a lawsuit claiming common law marriage. His lawyer suggested this, as i had a few weeks ago when things were first getting out of hand with the ex.... and the amount that it would cost him to fight the lawsuit is more than the civil ceremony in the Bahamas would cost too.
so there ya go, thats the plan for now.
