summer plans
The summer has been really nice - i just wish it was a little more like last summer - when Joel had more time and we partied alot more - especially in Phili. But hey we are both making and saving money and im tryin to lose 10 pounds so me teeter to a size2-4 is over with. I eat really goood ( i mean i always have) but i lacked with exercise. This is a woman who in her easrlier years was dedicated to volleball and softball. Its not that im lazy - im just so busy. THe only reason ive ptu on some pounds - is because of all the beer. Its not like i look horrible or anything. I actually look pretty gboood. lol. But hey who doesnt like to be perfect. I really only worry about my legs - because for a portugfuese woman they are always the first to go.
Anyhow Ive been doin my cvs pharmacy and research thing. Its going great. We actual;ly made some discoveries on my research project that will be published in a journal in about a year! CAN U BELIEVE THAT! Im going to be published or at least have my name show up in an atricle. Thats a really big deal for a student going into research. Barely anyone my age has gotten my opportunities - and its great b/c it only puts me ahead of the game.
Irene said shes comin up on the 11th! I hope she really is going to make it - id love to see her! I hate that i have a million things on my plate right now - but theres always time for IRene! lol. I cant wait to see ur new tatoo IRENE!
Im going to Wildwood tonight with Joel. We are meeting up with Dan, Tony, Greg, JOn JEff Rob, Caron , Garth and Raquel! Its going to be a fuckin blast! Lots of alcohol and layign on the beach. Man its been years since Ive been on the Wildwood boardwalk! I really like Joels friends - they are super cool!
We'll anyhow - i got some really great jewlery this past month in New York, Hoboken and SOuth St Seaport!
On a great note - one of my alumnae sorority sisters wants my resume because her husbband works for asmall pharmacy company thast deals with alot of bigger companies. ANd he wants copies of my resume to give out! With all my lab experience i can most def inately get a good job to start off - especially as a part timer! Cross ur fingers and wish me luck!
