missing sarah
Talking to Halie recently and seeing meetmeonastar's photos reminded me how much I miss my photography days. I did a HUGE amount in highschool across two art subjects and have in written proof under my A+ result that I was considered to have "an advanced sense of photographic composition". ^_^ UP ME \o/
The two photos above are probably my favourites from then. The top one is of my little sister, Phoebe, and the second one is of my best friend, Sarah. I took both using manual SLR cameras and developed the film and photos myself. The photo of Sarah was actually on the very first roll of film I ever developed myself and unfortunately I scratched the film up a bit. The one of Phoebe was done about a year later and it seems by that time I had my film reel/black bag transferring down pat.
In any sense, I feel totally inspired to start fiddling around again with photography. I have a fairly decent quality SLR camera that can be used both manually and automatically. If I wasn't saving for a car, I'd use my money to take Dad up on his offer of building me a dark room in the corner of our studio. That may have to wait though.
