flatulence in helsinki

i went to see Architecture in Helsinki on saturday. it was a pretty awesome show i must say. i wasn't keen on the $20 cover, but on the other hand when do we ever have bands like that come to santa fe? so i went. and i'm glad i did. missed the first band but Glass Candy, the second opener, were quite delightful. energetic. had a funny stuffed rabbit. i danced. it was good.

AinH themselves? super fun. really enthusiastic. presh presh aussie and new zealand accents. the only issue? someone centrally located in the audience had the worst gas known to mankind. to the point where i was concerned for their health. it was full-bodied and plentiful.

i don't care how much you like the band. if you're nauseating everyone in a 10 foot radius, enjoy the music from somewhere off to the side where you're offending as few people as possible.

side note. i now have a massive crush on architecture's percussionist, james. or at least i think he's james. his shirt said "jambes". cutie mcpreciouspants. that's all i can say.

here is their video for "heart it races".
