Boyfriends and Apartments
I gots an apartment, bitches!!! Just when I was about to move in with a really hot New Zealand boy who would have caused foreseeable sexual confusion in the future, the other boy, Jordan, called me asking if I still wanted to move in! The decision was easy to make. Jordan's place has way more space, is in a little bit nicer area of town, free laundry, and has a backyard. Sure, the rent is about $50 more a month, but I am willing to pay it if it will put my boyfriend at ease. He knows I have a weakness for accents. Plus, this Jordan fellow has a girlfriend and isn't my type at all. But he sure is my roommate type!!
This is a huge relief. Soon enough Jut will find a place too, and everything will fall into place.
Speaking of Jut, everyone deserves a boyfriend who treats them as well as mine treats me. After out all night dancing and boozing it up at the company christmas party, my super kick-ass bf spent the whole next day taking care of me while I vomited and complained. He's better than a mom.
And this is not to brag. This is to say that SERIOUSLY every girl deserves a boyfriend who treats her this well. A girl at my work who I'm friends with, brought her boyfriend to the party and he plain out ditched her. He had her keys and her cell phone. We had the cab bring her home, and at 2 am she buzzed her house to find out that he never went home. The poor thing cried in the cab until she passed out, where Noelle and I brought her to the east bay. No one deserves that. And from their conversation, I could infer that he got a lot meaner.
I know way too many womens who have crap ass boyfriends causing them to feel like shit about themselves all the time. And its not just emotional abuse. There are actually still boyfriends out there who hit and kick their girlfriends. This is so foreign to me that it is hard to imagine. But it exists more than any of us would like to think. And its so not worth it. If I was able to find such a kind awesome man on craigslist of all places, I know more of them are out there.
