Whoah!
New update page! I don't like it. It's even more corporate than it was last time. And I still haven't forgiven them for last time.
Anyway, long time, no speak folks. It's not as if I've got anything interesting to say usually, but at the moment I seem particularly drab.
Tongiht we (some of the people out of my Pol Sci class) went to see the Republican Senate candidate for Illinois speak at the (other) local university (they're our rivals- one of our footballers shot one of their's last year!!). God almighty, the man was a nut.
I mean, it's one thing to know that extreme conservatives exist, but totally another to watch them. He was like one of those TV evangelists, you know- gays are evil, God is good, the other candidate is harvesting babies from the womb at birth and only from black women cos he's a racist (even though the other candidate was black too, hmm.) In short, a nut.
One thing I don't get is why men feel they deserve an opinion on abortion. I mean, lets be fair (and tactless) here, it's not something they'll have to decide often. And how come you never hear woman talk about abortion? Do women have no opinion on this. Maybe it's just a 'man's issue'?
Anyway, that aside, the seats we sat on were some of the most uncomfortable seats I've ever sat on. I can't feel my ass! Can I sue him if I've permanently damaged my tailbone?
In other news, I got back my essay from hell (which I've told everyone I've e-mailed about cos it was so awful) and I got an A! All that worry for nothing. Worrying keeps me slim.
