A/N: This is the fic I abandoned in order to draw this. I went back and finished it, because Jim Kirk is too pretty and vain not to fuck himself. Check out the picture for a visual of this fic.

Of course my warcry is More Shatner, but this was adorable. I love how they're both like "top? bottom? whatever!" and how everyone just knows.

Shatner is The Awesome, but I was totally inspired by Chris Pine's sex face when he's been strangled in the film. Shatner just isn't as pretty (and yeah, he's a womaniser, but he isn't quite as much of a stuck-up prick as this Jim is).

Maybe next time I'll write Shatner teaching Pine a thing or two. Glad you liked anyways ^__^

I never really found Shatner attractive until I recently started watching TOS properly. Now I can see the attraction, but he's... just... a silly actor. And I can't take him seriously. And then there was the scene in the gym with the crotch bulge in his skintight red trousers... nuuuu thankyou.

Pine is very pretty etc etc, but not actually my type. I'm a Karl Urban girl, myself. Also, Gaila is definitely my type, but that's a whole different kettle of... Orions.

Ohmygod, I should write what happens when Gaila gets her hands on herself, because... guh. And I'm rambling now. Stop me, please.

Ah, I had this whole anti-Shatner thing for YEARS. I just thought he was ridiculous. Then I watched TOS and not only did I find him really attractive, I think his acting's totally appropriate for the role--at least until S3, when things deteriorate a lot and he starts becoming, you know, WILLIAM SHATNER.

But I realize I'm sort of biased, like I said.

Pine's actually too conventionally attractive for me, and frankly so should Shatner be. But ah well, what accounts for chemistry!

Sorry to get so far off the point. I still loved your fic, I just can't help but run around shouting SHATNER as often as possible.

Gaila was hot. Urban was cute. Quinto was pretty, too.

(I'm not seeing the Quinto thing either... I mean Yelchin, totally, but not Quinto. Although Spock is sexy, so maybe it's the beard thing I'm not cool with...)

Oh I meant Quinto-as-Spock. I'm not interested generally in actors beyond the characters.

Yeah, same here, but Quinto is so different from Spock that I sort of make the distinction.

I totally get that--I just haven't paid much attention outside the actual film so I didn't even know about the beard, and the distinction, while useful, didn't occur to me.
