gettin' travel-y
yesterday i bought my plane ticket and made my hostel reservations for my spring break trip to washington, d.c. i'll be there for a week working on collection development projects at american university. so my sightseeing will be limited to the evenings. anybody with ideas on evening sightseeing in d.c. can send those my way. i am looking forward to wandering through a city on my own again. travelling alone is a great way to clear one's mind, IMHO.
yesterday and today i have been hunting for the least expensive flight to romania. i have complicated this process by thinking that i want to do at least another week of european travel after the program. my european travel has been to italy and france with fotoman311. there is a lot more of the world for me to see! my brother was recommending bulgaria and turkey. a couple of other people in the program are thinking about scotland and ireland. another woman was thinking austria or hungary. my head is spinning. i need to look at a map!
my travels give me a good excuse to buy a digital camera. any recommendations on those?
