(no subject)
An update because things have been happening! Wowie. Bullet-format, here we go:
-The Rez has most of a roof! (which means that in fact it also has two stories worth of walls, a garage floor complete with radiant heating, a subfloor upstairs, some wires for electricity and 2 windows!) Apparently there is also some kind of plumbing going on underground that some dudes with diggers did. It was weird because I just looked back and realized my last post was a month ago about getting started on building. I can't believe how fast it went up. And I helped a lot!
-Doritos is making Taco flavored chips again! The last time I had them was literally about 15 years ago on a Girl Scout trip to the 4H club in Amboy to go orienteering on snowshoes. Or do you always orienteer on snowshoes? Either way, we all fell down a lot in the forest. But then we ate Taco Doritos and they were super tasty and then they stopped being made and now they're BACK!
-I've officially enlisted all my bridesmaids and with Nessa's fantastic help picked out the lovely frock they're going to wear. Ironically, it was the first dress I ever looked at when I first started looking at dresses, then went through all kinds of trouble and to try and find the right one. But um, now we have coupons, so its ok, right?
-We picked out our wedding cake. I'll give you all a hint...Funfetti. The rest will remain a surprise.
-I finally got the motor back for the 300 (let's not talk about how much I spent on that...) and it's gonna be amendous.
-Sent the transmission out to be rebuilt and I'm actually getting a deal on it, so yay!
-Got back to work a little bit on it but it's been really difficult to find time. Ohhh welll.
-I've been gripped by a very strong desire to go back to London. Em and James (my cousin and her husband) offered up his dad's flat that's a block from the Tower Bridge because he only stays there about a weekend every month (oh to be rich and powerful!) and Mike's best friend is going there for grad school starting in September. I might get my wish :) (as usual)
-I'm going to Cedar Point for a few days in July and I'm stoked because I've always wanted to go there.
