I can't remember the last time I posted here. It probably wasn't really that long ago but I'm too lazy to check. So, let's see...
Dropkick Murphys was awesooommmmme. I was slightly bummed the venue (Northern Lights) didn't have VIP section for Bri and Dale to weasel us into but it was great anyway. Next up on the concert schedule: NO DOUBT!!!! I can't believe we're actually going. I can't believe how much we paid for the tickets, haha. But I owed this to my 11 year old self. I remember when I was in 5th or 6th grade they played Ithaca and i wanted to go soooooooo bad but I couldn't. Well, guess what, now I'm gonna be 10 feet from the stage. It better not suck! I kind of wish we could get a zillion people together and all go but this was something Jen, Nessa and I HAD to do. I think we all vowed long ago that if ND ever toured again we'd go together. And somehow we managed to stay good enough friends all this time to actually do it! Yay!
I'm stoked for St. Patty's day. Mercifully, Bri decided we'd get to Coleman's for 10 instead of 8. Last year we started at 10 and I made it til 8:30 before I was done for. So we're gonna have a big Irish Breakfast (minus the black pudding) at Bri's then head up. I think we'll leave Coleman's around 2 and head back to Oswego...probably make it out to the Raven for 4 or 5ish sooo if anyone's around, meet up! It's amazingly good times and hopefully Chris gives me another glittery bowler hat this year! And hopefully it doesn't get lost on me this time!
I was kind of dumb, and scheduled an interview for the day after St. Patrick's. But hey, I need a job. And I wasn't too bad day after last year. I also have one next monday. Both for random hospital jobs (well, one's at behavioral health which could be totally thrilling) but at least I have a shot. This still working part-time thing is getting to be bullshit but my current job is only part-time so there's not much I can do about it. I took a test last weekend for a job at BOCES that actually requires a Comm degree (!) but that won't be graded for 2-3 months because, you know, it takes that long to run 10 scantrons through a machine. Freaking government tests.
Umm...wedding. Someone plan it for me? I'll give you cookies. I'm going dress shopping on the 26th. We'll see how that goes. I ordered my dress for Bri and Laura's wedding today...for $150. I hope eggplant is a good color on me because I intend to prance around in it on a weekly basis. And it has a train. Ha. Did I mention they jumped us and are getting married in January? Those bastards. But on the bright side, knowing Laura she'll have all her plans set in a month or two and I can steal them and change the colors. I have a feeling I'll need a strong drink when this year is over.
Still need somebody to actually perform the wedding, though.
I guess that's it for now. Other than the fact that it's still ridiculously COLD out, there's nothing left to mention.
How is everyone else doing?
